When Trunks first came from the future to talk to Goku, he told him he knew about his engagement with Vegeta. But in his future, Trunks said they never get married! Why? Because in three years time, two Wedding Breakers would be set loose into the world. And what exactly are Wedding Breakers? Terrible people...whenever the minister guy that marries two people says, "If any feel that these two should NOT get married, let him speak now or forever hold his peace..." the Wedding Breakers start coughing and sneezing up a storm, calling off the wedding. So for three years the Z warriors do what they can to try to change that from happening; Son Goku trains and trains so he will always be the strongest, and never lose Vegeta. During this time, Vegeta has and unfortunate encounter with Bulma, but decides it is too embarassing to tell Goku about. Three years later, everyone meets together to fight off the Wedding Breakers (Andriod 19 & 20). Everyone, that is, except Vegeta. Naturally this hurts Goku's feelings, and so when he starts fighting the Wedding Breakers, his hearts starts to break. Even though he was winning, Goku stops fighting them because he has a broken heart. He is afraid Vegeta forgot all about him, and right when the Wedding Breakers are about to officially break up Goku and Vegeta's engagement, no other than Vegeta himself saves Goku. He turns Super Sayin, too, for the very first time in front of an audience, which goes to show no one had better mess with Vegeta's man. |
This series is perhaps the best of all the series as far as testing Vegeta and Goku's love for each other goes. As it started off, Frieza (who had a crush on Goku since the Frieza saga) came to Earth looking for Son Goku. When he learned that Goku was not there, but both his fake wife (Chi-Chi) and his real girlfriend (Vegeta) were there, he was determined to destroy them, if not the entire planet since Goku wasn't there anyway. But just as Frieza, (bless his little broken heart...) was starting to get ready, Trunks comes in and shows him what for. When Vegeta sees this he starts to feel insecure about whether or not Goku was still the strongest in the universe. After all, Vegeta and Goku were only engaged, and alas, Vegeta's worries were doubled when Goku finally showed up WEARING WEDDING CLOTHES (or so it seemed). To top it all off, Goku went straight to Trunks and started talking up a storm with him without even saying hello Vegeta! But after Trunks left, Goku assured his girlfriend that it was nothing to worry about. So from now on, if any of you ever wonder why in the world Vegeta is always so mad and mean towards Trunks, now you know why. |

An Explanation of Vegeta's Love History (Please note that nearly everything in this section, like the rest of this site, is a LIE! Vegeta loves strong men. No other kind will do (he IS a prince, after all). In fact, only the strongest in the universe will do for him. Vegeta's first boyfriend was Radditz, but he obviously had his doubts that Radditz was, in fact, the strongest in the universe. So to prove he was, Radditz went on a journey to earth, but ended up getting killed by an earthling named Goku. So Vegeta started dating Nappa, who was obviusly much stronger than his first love, Radditz. Vegeta and Nappa went on a date to the planet Arlia, and after having proven his strength on that planet, he proposed to Vegeta. Vegeta and Nappa got married in outer space, and then decided to spend their honeymoon on Earth (with Vegeta secretly keeping in mind that Goku the earthling was there, he just might be stronger than Nappa.) Nappa and Vegeta arrived at Earth expecting wedding gifts from all they encountered, so of course those who had nothing to offer, were destroyed. After that, Nappa once more showed Vegeta that he was the strongest around by killing some of the earthling fighters, like Tenshinhan and Piccolo. But before they were all killed, Vegeta made Nappa stop, and they waited for Goku to arrive like he was supposed to. Nappa of course thought for sure that he would easily beat Goku, but Vegeta kept in mind that there was that small chance that the one who killed Radditz, just might be stronger than Nappa. And of course, only the strongest would do for Vegeta. so once Goku did finally arrive and prove to be tougher than Nappa, Vegeta broke up with him at once (and killed him, too.) He then asked out Goku, who was a little stubborn at first, but said yes. And they have been together ever since. |

Alas, even though Vegeta did show up to save his husband from the Wedding Breakers, he was a little too late to stop Goku's heart from breaking. As many of you viewers well know, Goku goes into a fit of screaming and clutching at his heart for the next dozen or so episodes. Why? Because he doesn't KNOW Vegeta came after all, he just started crying and decided not to stop. So Chi-Chi gave him Broken Heart Medicine to cure him; the medicine made it so anybody, and EVERYBODY Goku sees in his dreams and real life, looks just like Vegeta. That was the only way to cure a heart as broken as our dear Goku's case. After the Broken Heart Medicine had completely cured Goku, he set out to fullfil his vows and marry Vegeta. So at Kami-Sama's place, with a lovely view of the world, Goku marries Vegeta for the first time ever. |

Intro ....Many people in this world are familiar with one Vegeta on Dragonball Z. But how many people know who Vegeta's first boyfriend was? Or who his current boyfriend is? Think about it, really. Do you think he REALLY is chasing Goku around everywhere because he wants to HURT him? Never! These guys are obviously strong, stronger than most of us can imagine...What appears to be "fighting" to us, is really just tickling them! That's right, whenever you see Son Goku and Prince Vegeta "fight", they are really just tickling each other as a way of conveying their love to one another! Bet you didn't know that, now did you?
